The kick-off meeting of the Erasmus+ project Active Balance Gym – Gymnastics for Health & Well-Being took place in Cuneo, Italy, on 23 of January 2026 marking the initial steps of an innovative European cooperation focused on gymnastics working environments.

The project is co-financed by the European Union and will be implemented from 1 November 2025 to 30 April 2027. Its main objective is to improve the physical and mental well-being of employed adults aged 30–50, with special attention to management employees exposed to sedentary work, stress, and reduced physical activity.
At the core of the project is AGLE – Adaptive Gymnastic Learning Environment, a structured and inclusive approach using gymnastics-based exercises adapted for adults. AGLE focuses on balance, posture, coordination, agility, and mobility, while supporting stress reduction, team cohesion, and HEPA-oriented lifestyles in workplaces and local communities.
The partnership brings together strong and complementary expertise:
  • Sport club Endorfin (Slovenia)  Project Coordinator
  • ASD Aster Cheer (Italy)  Project Partner
  • School Activities Association (Turkey) – Project Partner
Through coach training, pilot gymnastic sessions, and sustainable cooperation with municipalities and employers, Active Balance Gym aims to deliver a scalable and replicable European model for workplace wellness.
